George E. King is a Registered Professional Engineer with 40 years oilfield experience since starting with Amoco Production Research in 1971. Technical background includes fracturing, production, acidizing, formation damage, well integrity and completions, complex formations, sand control and shales.
 
Technical accomplishments include 65 technical papers, a book on completions and workovers, Distinguished Lecturer on foam fracturing for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) during 1985-86, and a Completions Course Lecturer on horizontal wells for the SPE Short Course series in 1999.  Awards include the Amoco Vice President’s Award for technology and the 2004 SPE Production Operations Award.
