Graduated from Texas A&M in 1996 with a BS in Agricultural Engineering.  Upon graduation Dennis Degner worked for Halliburton as a field engineer from 1997-2001 focusing on East Texas and North Louisiana fracturing and cementing.  From 2001-2003 he worked for Sierra Engineering focusing on completion design, execution, QA/QC and data management for various projects across the Mid Continent and Rockies.  In 2003 he went to work for Tom Brown Inc. – EnCana as a completions engineer working 7 years on the East Texas Deep Bossier along with Barnett and Haynesville Shales.  In July of 2010 he joined Range Resources as Director of Operations for the Southern Marcellus Shale Division
